Remember that person who pushed you forward when you weren’t quite ready to take the first step? I do. Meet Pam.⁣⁣
In 2012, we were expats living in Brussels and active members of the Canadian Club. The annual fundraiser was approaching and Pam encouraged me to donate a personal styling session for the live auction. ⁣⁣
My response, ‘uh ummm well — I’m not ready.’ ⁣⁣
‘Sure you are!’ Pam quipped. Although she didn’t win the àllie la mode auction package that night, she hired a Personal Stylist, I achieved my first client, and we both gained a lifelong friend. ⁣⁣
Cheers to you, Pam, for believing in me and bidding on àllie la mode.

My favorite quote is:
“It’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey,” by Ralph Waldo Emerson.

What was your biggest fashion faux-pas?
Going shopping and buying new clothes, only to come home with the same items I already had in my closet.

What is your favorite memory with àllie la mode?
My favorite memory was our first shopping trip together. Allison made shopping easy, stress-free, and fun. She had already found the stores we would visit and the clothes I would try-on. I didn’t have to leave the dressing room to find a difference style or size — she brought the clothes to me. All I had to do was show-up and Allison took care of the rest!

Enjoy being 15 because before you know it – you’re 62!
